AHLCONITES IN DREAMLAND
7th September 2012 was a golden day for
the four hundred visitors from Ahlcon International School, when they
landed in the KINGDOM OF
DREAMS . It was a
fairy tale come alive for the 385 Middle school students and 30 teachers
because it’s the ultimate entertainment and leisure destination, sprawling
across acres of land, ideally located at the apex of the golden triangle of
Jaipur, Agra and Delhi . Here, the carnival that is India is distilled into one
iconic destination. This fabulous Kingdom brings to life a blend of India's
art, culture, heritage, craft, cuisine and performing
art...all with the technological wizardry of today.
The ecstatic
team of students and teachers received a warm welcome by the Nagara and Dhol
Players. The enchantingly beautiful interiors had a make believe world ready
for the young visitors. Culture Gully, which is an elaborate culture,
arts, crafts and food boulevard, had enough to offer for sensory delights.
After relishing the savories of various states and treating our eyes to the
splendid visual delights we proceeded to Nautanki Mahal which showcased an
extravagant cinematic and theatrical musical, JHUMROO- a tribute to
the famous legend Kishore kumar.
This is a destination which captured the imagination of all the
Ahlconites. The team returned by late evening carrying unforgettable memories
of a uniquely unusual trip to the KINGDOM OF DREAMS.
