FUN FILLED EXCURSION TO MANALI’

Rabindranath Tagore rightly said that ‘The highest education is that which does not merely give us information but makes our life in harmony with all existence’ So to provide a wide range of  such opportunities to young Ahlconites and help them in their holistic development a trip for 68 students and 8 teachers of Ahlcon International School to Kulu Manali was organized during the summer break.
With their heart brimming with joy and excitement, the Ahlconites set off on an enchanting journey of fun, challenge and entertainment in the lap of majestic mountains. They explored and thoroughly enjoyed the mesmerizing sights of blissful dance of river’ Beas’, mountains, clouds and waterfalls . The trip fostered a sense of team work and increased children’s knowledge and understanding of the world in which they live. In Manali the real adventure began when the students could enjoy river crossing with the help of ropes. Next morning they reached Solang valley and did paragliding, zorbing and gliding across the sky like birds. Neither the weariness of the traffic jams which they had to face time to time nor the chilling winds of hill station could diminish the spirits of this enthusiastic group. They visited the Vashisht bath and observed warm sulphur springs there. Students were also taken to Roerich art gallery and the famous Naggar Castle. Students felt happy being so close to Mother Nature. The bright multi-coloured flowers, the clouds sailing across the sky and the snow-covered peaks of the high mountains in the distance filled their heart with joy.
They returned to Delhi with the memory of the visit still fresh in their minds. The trip was an unforgettable experience combining pleasure, fun, learning, entertainment, self-expression, creativity and history
