ORIENTATION PROGRAMME FOR CLASS XI

Ahlcon International School organized an orientation programme for students of class XI as well as their parents on 2nd July and 3rd July.
The program commenced with a welcome note by Principal, Mr A.K Pandey, highlighting the need for disciplines, focus and unrelenting quest for knowledge among students. His eloquent address featured the importance of acquiring a homogeneous personality which would help students to carve a niche for themselves in today’s world. He also elaborated on the inextricable link between the adoption of a sound education and a strong character.
Mrs Rama Srinivasan, Head Senior School gave a power point presentation covering all the salient features of the present syllabus and the examination pattern for class XI and the ways to cope with it.
Mrs Sangeeta Maliwal , Incharge Senior Section ,with the help of PPT discussed at length the academic challenges faced by the students of class XI and how to navigate these challenges as and when they come . She emphasized the need of nurturing talents as forecast task, motivating the students to participate in extra –curricular activities held by the school from time to time.
The concept of “synchro-studies’ was also introduced, when Mr Anand Sharma from “ I-win Classes”. updated the parents about importance of these classes and how they could enhance the competitive skill of the students.
The faculty members of all three streams (i.e. science, commerce and humanities) gave power point‘s related to their subjects before the students ,for better understanding of the syllabus . The different tools and techniques of evaluation for their respective subject were given special emphasis.
The parents were sensitized about their role in continuous improvement of their wards. The programme culminated with an informal interaction between parents and teachers over a warm up of tea.
